Re: allow me to stir the pot - '24 - steve... - 06-14-2022 How about Raphael Warnock? I think he might be good. Re: allow me to stir the pot - '24 - kj - 06-14-2022 Biden's life expectancy when he starts a new term will be 7yrs. That seems like plenty, but on the other hand, that's cutting it pretty close. I don't think he should run. It will get more clear who has the best chance as we move along. For me, it's not impossible a compelling Republican surfaces. Not likely, but you never know. It might be a blessing for Democrats if someone polarizing like DeSantis is a frontrunner. Could be easier to beat him than someone reasonable. Re: allow me to stir the pot - '24 - Wags - 06-14-2022 I’d support Michelle Obama just to see Tucker’s head explode. Re: allow me to stir the pot - '24 - Randalls - 06-14-2022 Or Stacey Abrams? Or Beto O’Rourke? Re: allow me to stir the pot - '24 - mattkime - 06-14-2022 Wags wrote: Its too bad she's too smart to take the position. Re: allow me to stir the pot - '24 - Rolando - 06-14-2022 I would choose Duckworth in a heartbeat, but I don't think Harris would let that pass. I always thought Harris would have been better in the Supreme Court. Re: allow me to stir the pot - '24 - deckeda - 06-14-2022 I could get behind a President Momala Harris. What, that didn't sound right. In a very real sense it doesn't matter who the Democrat is, because Republicans have long ago decided not to engage in democracy. Swap out Biden for any name you wish, and the other side will need only about 4 minutes to demonize that person. So stop worrying what "other people" think. If you think Biden's too old but also doing a good job, know that those two constructs are incompatible with each other. Promote moving the peg forward. Decisions do not exist in a vacuum unless perfection is the goal. There are always alternatives, some better, many worse. Re: allow me to stir the pot - '24 - Speedy - 06-14-2022 After Pres. Trump is re-elected in ‘24, who will run against him in ‘28? |
