Another fan of Waterworld here. I thoroughly enjoy that movie each time I watch it and have never understood why people think it's so bad.

I enjoy it too. I believe it was critically panned before it was even released b/c of all the problems they had with filming and the ballooning budget etc. Then it just became cool to hate it. So everybody does. Sure its not a oscar caliber movie, but its fun to watch.
