First Mac I used; I can't recall. It was likely a IIsi or that era. First Mac I bought was a very very used PowerBook 160, which I loved. I never looked back.

My stupid PC had gone bad, so I went to the University Computer Store to look at a new one. The guy said, "Have you seen this PowerMac..."
Took the 6100 and 14" monitor home that day. My wife kept it when she kicked me out a couple years later. I picked up an SE/30 from a newspaper add. Saved up for my Powerbook G3, which I replaced with an iMac G4. I loved that iLamp. Replaced that with my not-very current White iMac. Looking at replacing it next year!

First Mac I used was a Mac IIvx at a small daily newspaper in South Dakota (in 1992).
First Mac I owned was a Performa 6400 180mhz. 603e processor. Bought it in 1996. Kind of slow but you gotta start somewhere.

PowerMac 9600/350 for $1600 when they cleared them out after G3s hit the market. I want to say that was 1997. I modded it too a bit - floppy drive delete before the iMac came out, replaced the floppy drive with a Zip 100 and dremel'ed the bezel to fit.
Lasted me a few years until my Pismo in 2001. I put it out of commission in 2003 or so.

First Mac I owned? A Quadra 610, purchased in November 1993. I purchased a EX II keyboard to use with it - to this day I use that very same keyboard. It has been used with every desktop Mac I've owned since 1993.
First Mac I used? When my ex-wife and I were still in college, her junior year roommate had a Mac SE her dad got her before school started that year (1986). Michelle (the roommate) was kind enough to allow me to use it to type my ex's term papers - it was love at first type.

I was a die hard Atari user and transitioned over from the console systems to an 8-Bit Atari 400. I too had a (used) Spectre or Magic Sac, (I forget which one) that I was running on an Atari ST a few years later.
When Atari started to get stupid and ridiculous, I bolted. My brother had dumped his Atari's about a year or so ahead of me and was always bragging up his Packard Bell. I couldn't get into Windows at all, so I started to look at Apple stuff again. I found out that they weren't quite as expensive as the used to be and I jumped in with a brand new Performa 400. It was a great little computer with more support than Atari was giving at the time.
About a dozen macs later, and I haven't looked back.
