I cannot believe how stupid this is. I know people are ignorant about many things, but I did think they understood how long the president's term lasts and what Inauguration Day is.

You raise an interesting question, 'fil. Do you suppose that if McCain had won, that Bush & Co. would be working on some of these economic problems? Do you think that the GOPs have just left the whole pile of steaming &^%$ for the Democrat bastids to clean up?

I'm not cynical enough (yet) to believe that they are purposely letting it go down the tubes,
but I am realist enough to believe that they have no idea what to do regardless of who won.
