McCain is pitifully out of touch if he has to physically return to DC to talk to Congress people. The president cannot ask the rest of the world to stop turning because he is handling a crisis of some sort. McCain is proving that he hasn't got what it takes to handle the job. Obama's handlers aren't letting him talk much to the press much either though--it's as if the chiefs of staff on both sides said, ok, you won the primary, now shut up. As does the fact that he took no questions from the press at his announcement today. I think he's seriously ill.
