Re: The guy who captured Sadam - Gutenberg - 12-13-2008

Maybe because you're the guy.

kj, Panopticon introduced some doubt, but he didn't wipe the theory away--"rendition" is the euphemism for "torture." I can leave it open for now. I do know that the United States Army, under official orders from its civilian leadership in the White House, has conducted acts of shameful torture against prisoners and noncombatants, and I am ashamed of that. I cannot wait for that civilian leadership to be ushered out of power, and I hope that the man going in will exercise the discretion and decency that I hope he has.

poor swampy, once you use Fox as a source, you lose what miniscule amount of credibility the Right wing thinks you have.

Gates isn't being ushered out of anywhere. Couldn't you guys find ONE qualified person from your team?

Re: The guy who captured Sadam - deckeda - 12-13-2008

Yeah, seems odd for an administration to fill a position based on something other than personal loyalty, doesn't it?

In other words, she has nothing but belief to support her claims. Not a serious problem, informally Smile . kj.

Okeydokey. Any reason you're mentioning this to me instead of Gutenberg?
Nope. kj.

Of course. I never address women directly. Just because "rendition" has been used to describe torture, doesn't mean it always means torture. I think I'll go have an orange. kj.
