OT: Road ID... any of you use this product? - SKYLANE - 07-30-2010 Was thinking of getting this product. Anyone use this product (or similar)? Was curious what you thought about it, it was advertised quite a bit during Versus' Tour de France programming. I am becoming jaded in Privacy practices of vendors. Didn't quite know if I wanted to provide information to them that would make that product useful. May just put something together on my own and keep it on my person while riding. I did want to buy something while they had their prize contest before end of the month. At the very least, it's a small step towards making my care easier for EMT's if I'm ever involved in an accident. I wear it every time I run or ride, and I've had it for 2 years. But having the version you talk about Bill seems to make sense, since I tend to not like the idea of having Medical info in the hands of Road ID. Not that their untrustworthy, but...
