iPhone 4 new in box on CL - space-time - 07-31-2010
I saw this ad on local CL for example. Do you think this is a scam, or they are really selling this for 550? why would they sell it for 550, I assume they would have to pay ETF (???)
Im selling an Apple iPhone 4 16gb. The iphone is brand new and still in the sealed box.
Im looking for around $550 for it.

They may have received it as an upgrade (and therefore only paid the subsidized price of $200). Probably keeping their old phones still on the account. Think of it as 'commodotizing' their upgrade. One can do this every year when a new iPhone model comes out (since they seem to allow you to upgrade at the subsidized price every year instead of every 2 years when your contract is about to run out). Heck, that seems to be cheap (compared to eBay prices). I don't think it's a scam (price is too high...but not so high compared to fleabay so he can sell it quickly).
