Was also down yesterday, citing a "third party networking provider” as the cause for the disruption.
EDIT1: 4pm EST it's back.
EDIT2: 4:14pm EST it's down again.

I use Facebook sparingly so it's no big deal to me but I was just trying chat with my buddy over in
Afghanistan a bit ago and couldn't get on so it does appear to be down.
I'm sure some people are freaking out about now.

They've banned Facebook at work for me. I went through withdrawal for a few days afterwards. I'm doing better now. :eek2:
