It was on Fox, so I never even bothered to see what they were premiering this season. Fox rarely has any series I would watch anyways.

I'm surprised Fox hasn't canceled "Running Wilde" yet. Shoot, I'm surprised they didn't yank it halfway through the premiere.

"Lie to Me" — which wasn’t expected to kick off its third season until later this fall — takes over the show’s Monday-9pm time slot beginning next week.

That.

Is.

Awesome!

Sorry if you were a fan. I thought Lone Star was just more of the same old warmed over crud. Decent actors and borderline-decent story, but writing and direction were awful. (The fact that they kept pushing it as if the show were the slightest bit original was simply an embarrassment to all involved.)

"Lie to Me" is also warmed over crud, but it's served with some tasty side-dishes. I like the actors a lot and occasionally they do have a well-written episode. (I also have never come across anyone in the production claiming that it was original.)

Yeah. BIG disappointment. A THUD missile with multiple independently regrettable punchlines.
