Never knew he was the brother of the well known photographer Irving Penn!

He directed a few of my favorites including Little BigMan I didn't realize that he was a brother
to one of my all time favorite photographers, Irving Penn. There was a lot of visual talent between those two.

I heard a couple audio clips on NPR that were credited to Fresh Air, so I'm sure that they will replay
that interview in the next day or two.

arthur penn was a special film-maker. i heard him speak at an event during my film-school days. the man was inspiring by how much he trusted himself, his actors, his crew while on set.
