Stupid iPad question - vicrock - 09-30-2010

So, why is Hulu virtually unusable on the iPad? I'm getting tons of messages that shows are only available on Hulu+ and the ones that do come up available at hulu.com, using safari, give me a message saying that they won't play on this format.

Am I doing something wrong?

Hulu uses Flash.

You're right.
It was a stupid question.

Hulu Plus is available on the iPad as an app, with accompanying monthly service fee of course.

Here's the app:

Many don't think it is worth the monthly fee though. Check the reviews.
To make it worse, even though it is a paid service, the shows still have commercials.

I'm waiting for the Smart iPads.

I did d/l the Hulu + app - before I realized it was for the paid service - not worth $10 a month! ABC has their own player which works great, but of course only works for ABC shows.

I had no idea about Flash and Hulu - told you it was a stupid question!

I think it's not only a paid service, but you also get commercials at no extra charge.

It MIGHT be worth it if it was commercial free - but not the way it is now.

That's exactly why I don't subscribe to cable, read magazines, or go to the movies! Who would want to pay money for entertainment and then get advertised at!

Edit: Sorry, that was sarcasm.
