I can't get the disk out of my iMac. It's not registering on the screen, but when I try to burn to it, it tells me we can't burn to it. However, when I try to eject it, it won't come out.

I use Toast, and hit the eject. If it is physically stuck (two disks in one slot), it'll need taken apart.

Toast? I have zero clue. I thought there was something you could hold down while restarting to make it come out.

Hold down mouse/trackpad button on restart until the disc pops out.

Read the manual and it should point out exactly where to insert a paper clip if the mouse button startup doesn't work.

1) Open Disk Utility. If the disc appears in DU (typically unmounted), you can remount and try to eject again or you should be able to eject from within DU.
2) If that doesn't work, reboot while holding down the mouse button. Hold the button until the disc ejects.

Along with the choices listed above, if your keyboard lacks an eject button, here's how to add an eject button to the menu bar.
If you use a wireless mouse, the "hold down the mouse button on reboot" may not work. Best to do that with a hard wired mouse.
