They are releasing the water higher than if it were a forest fire. The wind is carrying most of it off into the
wild blue yonder. I'm beginning to wonder if they have a clue of what to do. I also heard we're flying a
drone over the reactor to detect how hot it actually is.

The helo pilots are only allowed 40 minutes exposure a day. Can't fly in a NBC suit. They can only get just so close.

I hope they have better luck with the high pressure fire fighting nozzles thingies they are supposed to try when they get them set up and working.
That ( and some other videos) look frustratingly ineffective.

What we need are heroes, like on t.v., that will go marching in regardless of personal danger and do what needs to be done!
Failing that, I reckon they are doing what they can.

Maybe they should try using those large water storage bags, like a giant water balloon, that will burst when it hits the ground to concentrate the water in one place.

They are bringing in riot control water cannons that can be operated while in NBC suits.
There are responders on the ground who are sacrificing themselves by knowingly going over the exposure limit to help head this stuff off. I can assure you that they are doing more than a lot of people would be willing to risk. My GF's co-teacher is from Japan, and her family is still there.

If only they had kept a legion of Korean "Comfort Women/FireFighters" - they could operate the BIG hoses
just like they operated the little ones!
