How long was that run, 5 years?

Re: No More G4 - kahuna1342 - 05-16-2006

Closer to seven years. The original G4 desktops were introduced in late Aug or early Sept of 1999. I know because I had just bought my G3 450 a few weeks before.

If Moto/Freescale would get their ass in gear, we might see some impressive
options soon. If not - the move toward CoreDuo will solidify among the masses
pretty quickly.

The dual boot factor and the performance factor are such major selling points
for me that I can't wait to get one to replace everything I'm using.

Dual boot has a whole new meaning now, doesn't it!
