I keep getting these files showing up at the top level of my servers system drive. I deleted them once and they're back again.

tmpbalance.19633.0.0.0.0

Look like some kind of log.
Did you check the contents?

A Mac server? Hit the Terminal.
sudo lsof | grep tmpbalance
