I have a 19.1GB MPG file that I'd like to split and burn on several DVDs - olnacl - 05-01-2011 Any tips? Before you ask, it's the 8 hour episode of the Royal Wedding (don't ask) that I recorded off BBC on my TiVo, then transferred to my Mac using iTiVo. So now I have this huge .mpg file (which plays fine in Boxee, BTW) that I need to burn to DVD for the person I recorded it for. A quick Google just got solutions for Windows with software I've never heard of. Hopefully this is doable on a Mac without spending an arm and a leg to get 'er done. (yeah, I know I should have recorded it in 1 hour segments originally.) Re: I have a 19.1GB MPG file that I'd like to split and burn on several DVDs - decay - 05-01-2011 you have Toast? Re: I have a 19.1GB MPG file that I'd like to split and burn on several DVDs - Black - 05-01-2011 Just cut it into 5 segments in Quicktime? Re: I have a 19.1GB MPG file that I'd like to split and burn on several DVDs - volcs0 - 05-01-2011 This is why I keep an old copy of Quicktime 7 Pro around. Just load it up and split it into movie segments. Re: I have a 19.1GB MPG file that I'd like to split and burn on several DVDs - Jimmypoo - 05-01-2011 Do you have the Wedding Nite video? I want to see Kate doin' her thing on baldo. Re: I have a 19.1GB MPG file that I'd like to split and burn on several DVDs - Black - 05-01-2011 Jimmypoo wrote: I'll bet both of them just lay there. I have no problem with 25 GB Family movies sent to iDVD and burning them. Re: I have a 19.1GB MPG file that I'd like to split and burn on several DVDs - Jimmypoo - 05-01-2011 Black wrote: Ya know... I'll bet young Lady Di was like that at first... but I don't get that impression for this future queenie. But to be honest, I'd have to compare her and the sister to see which one is really and truly ready to be Queen of Poovania (despite it being pointed out yesterday that the sister would be named Lady PippiPoo). As was pointed out in a different thread... there's nothing like rolling around naked in fertilizer while yodeling. |
