the 10.6 update broke the Canon wireless connection - Don C - 06-27-2011

FYI: When I installed the latest 10.6 update, the wireless connection to my Canon Pixma MP560 stopped working. I went to the Canon support site and downloaded the latest driver from there but that did not fix the problem.

A general search found a driver listed on the Apple support page at http://support.apple.com/kb/DL899 and THAT driver works. The date on this is April, 2011 so I don't know why the Canon support page does not list it, but I thought I'd just pass on to anyone who has a similarly broken wireless connection to check Apple support, not Canon support.
