Re: are you ready for more blistering temperatures? - rz - 07-12-2011 I've lived in Orlando for almost 17 years now, and even though it's hot and humid here all summer, it's only hit 100 maybe a handful of times since I've been here. The humidity from being a large peninsula usually tends to keep the temperature from getting too hot. I've gotten used to temperatures in the mid-upper 90's with high humidity. Well, maybe not completely used to it, but you tend to learn to plan your time such that you don't spend a lot of it outside from about noon until 5pm unless you absolutely have to.
