Anyone try the Dr Scholls footmapping kiosk? - Trouble - 07-23-2011 http://www.footmapping.com/footmapping/about-the-kiosk/foot-assessment-demo.jspa Looks interesting. Re: Anyone try the Dr Scholls footmapping kiosk? - NewtonMP2100 - 07-23-2011 ....not yet but my hopes are not high since my name is Paul BUNION [Bunyan]..... Re: Anyone try the Dr Scholls footmapping kiosk? - Ombligo - 07-23-2011 I was curious until I saw the $45 price tag on those insoles. Re: Anyone try the Dr Scholls footmapping kiosk? - onthedownlow - 07-23-2011 I got them when they first came out a 1.5-2 years ago. I have the '440' (or whatever the highest number is) and still wear them daily. True...~$50 is a little steep for an over-the-counter gamble, but I thought I'd take a shot at them and see, and I have been very happy since. My father just got a pair a month or two ago and it has helped him much with his daily work and other tasks. Re: Anyone try the Dr Scholls footmapping kiosk? - lazydays - 07-23-2011 I have a friend who tried it and has been very pleased. I paid over $400 for custom orthotics. I'll try dr. scholls next time and see if i'm as satisfied. Re: Anyone try the Dr Scholls footmapping kiosk? - onthedownlow - 07-23-2011 lazydays wrote: Same scenario for me too, with the cost. While still not quite as good (at least for me), they are probably 90%+ as good, and about two years later I am still wearing them with no regrets of the purchase and savings. Re: Anyone try the Dr Scholls footmapping kiosk? - stephen - 07-23-2011 My brother is a PT and is skeptical - he keeps telling me to wait until he can order me some real ones, but we never seem to be in the same town to do it. Re: Anyone try the Dr Scholls footmapping kiosk? - Rolando - 07-23-2011 I've tried it. I guess the $50 will change a cheap pair of shoes to a good pair. I dunno if It worth 5x as much as a $10 shoe liner. |
