I was curious until I saw the $45 price tag on those insoles.

I got them when they first came out a 1.5-2 years ago. I have the '440' (or whatever the highest number is) and still wear them daily. True...~$50 is a little steep for an over-the-counter gamble, but I thought I'd take a shot at them and see, and I have been very happy since.

My father just got a pair a month or two ago and it has helped him much with his daily work and other tasks.

I have a friend who tried it and has been very pleased. I paid over $400 for custom orthotics. I'll try dr. scholls next time and see if i'm as satisfied.

Same scenario for me too, with the cost. While still not quite as good (at least for me), they are probably 90%+ as good, and about two years later I am still wearing them with no regrets of the purchase and savings.

My brother is a PT and is skeptical - he keeps telling me to wait until he can order me some real ones, but we never seem to be in the same town to do it.

I've tried it. I guess the $50 will change a cheap pair of shoes to a good pair. I dunno if It worth 5x as much as a $10 shoe liner.
