jewelweed. straight extract (from boiled leaves and stems) or a store-bought remedy. dries it out more quickly than anything else i've used.

just found these, haven't looked at them:

No home remedies, but try Zanifel. Expensive at about $20 bucks for a small tube. But it helps my wife and son, who are both extremely allergic to poison ivy. IT helps break down the oils.

Don't forget to wash all clothing and bedding that you come in contact with while infected.

It can usually be found at Wally world, CVS, or Walgreens.

Tecnu cleanser first thing. Ivy Dry for immediate relief. Caladryl lotion and Calamine lotion for longer relief. Cortizone 10 (cool) also helps. I recommend rotating thru all of the treatments mentioned - using two at a time.

What everybody said. I feel your pain - severely allergic myself. Take a couple of Benadryl tabs to manage the irritation. The other remedies will do their thing sooner or later. Good luck. See a doc if yer still goin' nuts 2 days from now.

Calagel is GREAT for poison ivy. It's clear & stops the itching quickly.

When i had a case a coule years ago I looked it up and the info i found said that if you know you've been in contact wash those spots off right away. (Fels-Naptha is good). Apparently it's only the oil directly from the plant that causes the problem. The liquid in your sores, while yucky, won't spread it—I read.
YMMV
