A good deal? -- NEW (mid 2010) 27" i7 2.93GHz iMac @ $1499+tax - steve... - 09-05-2011

Any issues with this iMac?

NEW (mid-2010) 27" i7 2.93GHz, 4 GB, 1TB drive at MacMall

Snow Leopard is installed and it's eligible for free Lion upgrade.

$1499 + tax (free shipping) = about $1620.

A refurbished one with tax at the Applestore is about $1695 (when available).

The only negative I can think of is there's no Thunderboldt port but that's a non-issue right now. TIA.

Nope, great machine. That's what I got my wife for xmas last year. Zero issues.

eCost has them for $1399 -- but $50 shipping.

$1580 to CA.

wish macconnection, bH, amazon, etc had them -- no sales tax.

However, yours has an i7 processor ... Just no Thunderbolt ports ...

Fair deal though.
