Snow Leopard is still for sale at the Apple store - freeradical - 09-09-2011 This is very interesting. Doesn't Apple normally stop selling the old OS when the new one is released? http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A?fnode=MTY1NDAzOA Re: Snow Leopard is still for sale at the Apple store - decay - 09-09-2011 if you're still on Leopard, it might make more sense to buy the USB drive with Lion if you're going that route. Snow Leopard $30 + Lion $30 or Lion USB $70 Re: Snow Leopard is still for sale at the Apple store - GGD - 09-09-2011 This is most likely the reason... To upgrade your Mac to OS X Lion, you must be running OS X Snow Leopard. If you have OS X v10.5 or earlier, purchase Snow Leopard now and install it on your Mac. Then buy OS X Lion as a digital download from the Mac App Store. Re: Snow Leopard is still for sale at the Apple store - decay - 09-09-2011 has anyone tried to install Lion from the Apple USB over Leopard?
