Dymo M5 5lb Digital Postal Scale for $14.99 shipped

http://www.adorama.com/DYSM5.html

Not quite a USB scale (which may be a good thing for many), yet if you need a small scale for weighing letters/small packages (5 pounds max), this looks like a good scale.

For reference, Staples sells it for 3 times as much:

John,

Many thanks for this link! I could've used one of these two days ago. That way, I could weigh items accurately for postage purposes at my office rather than walk over to the local post office and use the scale built into their Automatic Postal Center.

Here is a link to the owner's manual, justin case anyone wants to check it out prior to purchasing.

Glad I looked at the manual. The standard warranty is two years. If you register it with Dymo, you'll get an additional year of warranty for a total of three years. Not bad for $14.99! Smile

Robert

WTF?

I thought membership in this forum required the ownership of a USB scale?

This is my digital scale. It has an 11 pound capacity.

Re: WYF (weigh you fools)! - space-time - 09-30-2011

is this 5 lb or 5 Kg (11 lb). The website claims 5 pounds, the PDF manual says 5 Kg (about 11 pounds).

EDIT: according to the manual, it also has a USB port, but what does that do? there is no software mentioned in that PDF file (maybe I missed it). Is the USB port only for power?
