CAUTION: It may be difficult to enjoy your victory over the brown menace, when you don't have any food to eat.

Wall heckfayr ! Round up all them Welfare Moms and their little pickaninnies and have 'em pick the tamaters in exchange for their Welfare checks and Food Stamps !

Reality ? We're over-urbanized, to the point that working on a farm is considered a 'bad job' and 'unworthy'. So nobody even thinks about it. Of course, the farmers *could* get really intelligent and call out to all the local schools.. offering 'good paying jobs' to students who take a week to 'learn about farming'. A bunch of hormonal high schoolers can clean out a field in a hurry. Of course the veggies will be a little squashed in places..

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap".

I knew that my time spent with the KJV would come in useful one day.

How many are receiving unemployment in Alabama? There are jobs waiting for them. Looks like we are looking at the blueprint of job creation.

NPR interviewed a grade-school educator in Alabama who had dozens of kids -- all U.S. citizens -- taken out of school because their parents were afraid of deportation and dozens more young children are in need of psychological counseling because they are traumatized with the fear that their parents will be arrested or deported while they attend class.

Alabama has a prison work-release program that was supposed to fill the vacancies at farms when the undocumented workers fled, but the convicts allegedly do not work as well as the Hispanic workers they are supposed to replace and the paperwork to fill a vacancy with a convict is a huge burden.

Citizens and documented laborers are asking for twice as much money and doing half the work of their undocumented counterparts.

The farmers don't want Americans with atrophied fingers only capable of typing, texting and masturbating. They do too much damage picking and lack a work ethic and stamina.

This usually happens when you get paid every week, have healthcare and your heating bills are paid for and have a roll of food stamps in your pocket. Beggars can be choosy after all.

Yes, let's all assume that everyone in this country has full health insurance and gets paid millions of dollars every year by the government.

Sad thing is, even if you DO take a job picking lettuce, at the current prevailing wage, you'll still be in poverty.
