My kids are entering the PSAT / SAT phases of their lives. Any favorite study apps for the iPod/iPhone?

This one is good for math.
Most of the test prep companies have apps.
I think the best prep is to have your student take a mock PSAT spring of sophomore year, then have it evaluated with an instructor who can point out strengths and weaknesses. Same thing for the SAT, but they'll probably take the actual test twice and can have a tutor review the results and recommend targeted study.
I'm not sure how helpful these wide-open study guides are, or how motivated busy high school students would be to use them enough to make a difference. I think a personalized, targeted approach is a better use of time. My son gained about 80 points on his second SAT, so he thought the repeat and a couple of hours of targeted tutoring was worth doing.

OK. Thanks. He is a sophomore and taking it for the first time next week. I just want him to have something on his ipod to practice vocab and reading comprehension. I didn't realize they take it again. I only remember taking it once....
