One pipe leaves your house, it's all the same at that point. Unless you're talking about storm drains, in which case they may be separate from sewage.

Depends if you have gray water that goes to your lawn vs toilet that goes to septic or city line.

DWV ~ Drain, Waste, Vent. The basics of all outbound liquid / solid matter you expect your piping to "take care of".

The plumber gets "first crack" at a building shell because its imperative that drainage pipes be at the proper angle so that gravity can carry things away. Electricians, carpenters etc can work around properly pipes installed pipes. Toilets are basically drains designed to carry away wastes produced by the human body. Many parts of the world don't have (or even know what) our "modern" toilets are.

So who wants to pee in the shower? Mom, dad, kids, pets? Just wash around the drain for those w/ bad aim.

I'll go ahead and give it a try. I'm assuming this saves flushing water AND if you're showering with
a friend, could also reveal a hidden penchant for gargling that you might not have previously known about!!
