This Dog Must Go! - kap - 10-31-2011 Found a stray dog on my job site last week. None of co-workers could take him in because each of them already has at least 2 dogs. I got to take the stray one to our apt. While waiting for a permanent home, I train him on basic commands and he chews on all of our cables! One of which is my 2.4GHz C2D MBP >:-[ Where can find a replacement? And how much are those? Tia Re: This Dog Must Go! - Speedy - 10-31-2011 Congratulations, you now have a friend for life. Re: This Dog Must Go! - space-time - 10-31-2011 when you go trick or treat tonight, you can place him in an open house or garage and sneak away discretely ![]() Re: This Dog Must Go! - mick e - 10-31-2011 Look on the bright side - it should be easy to come up with a name for the dog. (think Steve Martin's dog in The Jerk) Re: This Dog Must Go! - modelamac - 10-31-2011 kap wrote: Assuming you mean the power cable ( you did not properly describe which cable you mean), Apple sells them. Re: This Dog Must Go! - cbelt3 - 10-31-2011 OWC also has 'em ! On Sale garage sale too ! http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Apple/MC556LLANBC/ We bought one of their refurbs to replace a kitteh munched Magsafe cable, and it works fine. Re: This Dog Must Go! - digby - 10-31-2011 So, if you can get cheap cables, you can keep the dog, right? Re: This Dog Must Go! - GGD - 10-31-2011 If he's chewing on AC power cords, that's a self correcting problem. Bless you for picking up the dog! |
