Hulu opens with black screen - andypie48 - 12-11-2011
Hulu is opening to a black screen instead of the usual zany interface. After a bit you can hear a preview audio playing.
I've STFed, tried various keyboard combinaations, tried trashing and reinstalling Hulu and the plug-in, shutdown and restart, and searched for additional files to delete. Nothing seems to work.
any similar problems/solutions or ideas?

Which browser are you using?
Is it the same in every browser?
Did you uninstall the Flash plugin or just remove it from your Internet Plugins folder before reinstalling?

not running it in a browser, using Hulu Desktop. Used the Flash uninstaller per your suggestion. problem persists. same problem in 'guest' user account.

Some users on their forum reported that uninstalling and downgrading Flash fixed the black screen problem in Hulu Desktop.
I'm assuming that when you reinstalled you did so with the latest version of Flash.
Uninstall Flash again and then install Flash Player 10.3. (Ignore the Debug/Windows/Linux versions in the archive.)
