Vet recommended we start giving Ms. Rat Terrier this supplement, which I think is a great idea. Her elderly joints are hurting her, and she's not as spry as she was. The cold weather of course makes it worse.
I'm thinking about a 'treats' sort of supplement... the other younger doggies don't need it (yet), so I don't want to add it to the food which they share.

Our dog liked Zuke's. I'm too lazy to figure out if the brand you show is just a generic version of Zuke's or not, it may well be.
Ultimately we ended up buying human supplements and giving it to our dog that way. The human supplements, especially if one can find a sale, are waaaaay less than the stuff packaged for dogs and I couldn't find any difference.
At one point I became skeptical and stopped giving it to our dog, and within a couple of weeks his limp returned. So we went back to it since it really seemed to make a difference.

I heard some "expert" say Walmart, Target, etc. have stricter quality controls on vitamins because they want to protect their reputation. They are cheaper, I'm sure.

Walmart for me and my dogs.
I really couldn't move with a glucosomine/flaxseed oil requiem.
I mash theirs up in some kind of treat, peanut butter, applesauce, etc.

Occasionally Costco puts this supplement on sale. When they do, I buy several. I think it's the nutramax ones, but am not sure. They are capsules that you open and sprinkle of the food. It is the same brand and dosage my vet dispensed to me.

My vet has put our oldest on fish oil for his joints - says it is WAY better than the glucosamine/chondroiten we were buying.

We've had very good results using Cosequin for our cats. They come in little capsules that you can put in a treat for them to swallow whole or can be sprinkled on their food.

No opinion on the pet chewies, but I ran out of "brand" g/c/msm, and am into a bottle of Trader Joe's, and in the past few weeks everything that can possibly ache on my body has started doing so. Gonna try upping the dose beyond the recommended daily before giving up on them.

Warehouse club of your choice. There are standard dosages based on the weight of the dog, so check with your vet.
Glucosomine did wonders for our elderly lab mix who had hip displaysia. Added years to his life.
