Will I be able to move this treadmill in this minivan? - volcs0 - 01-11-2012 Or will I have to take it apart? I'm getting it for free, so it is a good deal. If you can get it in the door, it should fit without disassembly. If it does make it in, I would pad around it significantly so that if it shifts during transpo it does not break any glass. Re: Will I be able to move this treadmill in this minivan? - olnacl - 01-11-2012 Most treadmills fold (somewhat) flat (also somewhat) easily (YMMV, of course). Once the control panel is folded down, I wouldn't expect any issues transporting it in your minivan. Less expensive treadmills may involve "some assembly required" situations. Re: Will I be able to move this treadmill in this minivan? - BernDog - 01-11-2012 You can detach the handles on a lot of treadmills, and then the top part could just fold down. This one doesn't look any different. It might just mean taking out four bolts. Actually, it might even have some sort of attachment system where it's actually made to fold up as-is for storage. If so, height won't be a problem. I don't think the length would be a problem either. Edit: d'oh! Just a little slow on the draw. Re: Will I be able to move this treadmill in this minivan? - NewtonMP2100 - 01-11-2012 ....unless you are RUNNING on EMPTY.......?? Re: Will I be able to move this treadmill in this minivan? - cbelt3 - 01-11-2012 Easy peasy. Two person lift, though. Re: Will I be able to move this treadmill in this minivan? - Buzz - 01-11-2012 take the seats out and lay it sideways; you're golden... and pad as noted to prevent damage to van or treadmill. we moved a lot more than that in our 1999 Sienna, so from personal experience, there's lotsa room in the back if you know how to pack*. *except for when Mrs. Buzz tripped on the garage step while carrying a box to be loaded into the van, and screwed up her ankle so badly that it still bothers her occasionally ten years later; you shoulda seen the glassware in the box she dropped... oops. Re: Will I be able to move this treadmill in this minivan? - N-OS X-tasy! - 01-11-2012 Questions such as this posted here mystify me. If you are unable to determine whether it will fit with everything right in front of you, why the hell would you expect us to know?
