moveon at its best-- house party - Black - 02-07-2012 Sometimes I want to punch moveon.org in the throat, but the one thing they do that I think is great is the house parties. Unfortunately it looks like there's not a whole lot of excitement about this one-- barely anyone registered to attend in most of Chicago: http://pol.moveon.org/event/events/index.html?submit=1&search_distance=30&search_zip=60608&action_id=267&_s=2a87b6bf81ef5f5bb22577bc296ebc8c971ac8e263bc5f68e6c405fabf9cd0ee Re: moveon at its best-- house party - $tevie - 02-07-2012 Granted I am unfamiliar with these house parties, so I can't compare to others in the past. But what are the chances that the kind of folks who belong to moveon have already seen the movie and bought the t-shirt and have no desire to go to a total stranger's house to watch it again? Agree that the movie itself is probably the hard-sell part. Re: moveon at its best-- house party - Pops - 02-07-2012 It's today's Tupperware party. |
