too many toys - space-time - 03-08-2012

let's see: Black Stuff I have, Blue Stuff I plan to buy in 2012

iPad, around $829, let's say it's good for 3 years, +$100 for Applecare+

iPhone 4S, unlocked, about the same price, same useful life span. But I need 2, one for me, one for her. Again with $100 AC+

MacBookPro, 15", $1700, should last me about 5 years. Applecare adds another $300

MacBookPro 13" for her, $1000, about 5 years, +200 applecare

iPod Touch for kids, $200, 2 years? (I have an older iPiod Touch with unresponsive touch screen, not worth repairing at this point)

Apple TV $100

Airport Extreme $160

EDIT: this is just stuff we got recently, many more were bought and then sold/donated/recyled over the years

no wonder Apple has $100 billion in the bank.

Note to self, buy some AAPL before space-time buys his stuff.
