Did they raise the other membership levels too?

NO biggie. . .just wondering. . .

I dunno--but it's still worth it to me, for the coffee alone, not to mention the photofinishing, which is superb and cheap to boot.

I noticed the same thing the other day while at Costco. Basic and Business are both $50 (don't know what Business was before) and Executive was $100 I think.

Agree with Gutenberg though, I'll still renew next year.

Actually the Executive is the best deal, you get back some small percentage of your purchases at the end of each year, plus the added advantage of getting in one hour early to beat the crowds. I often go early and zip through and out long before the open to the general membership. My wife and I are not big spenders but our annual refund check is usually $100 to $120 and as the others said I would shop their anyway even without the incentive. Too many good prices besides their customer service and return policy are best in the big box stores.

If you're getting $100 cheque, that means you are spending about $5000/year at Costco. You might be bigger spenders than you think. Smile

the break even point for the exec membership (with no other considerations) is about $225 a month. (my math may be off)

At least Sam's Club lets business members in at 7am, well ahead of the crowds.

A stinkin' hour early? BFD.

Sams lets those people in to accommodate the restaurant and retail Mom/Pop operations that are buying soda and other gunk by the truck load.

Sometimes, getting in line behind a biz owner that has 3 rolling carts of snacks, etc., isn't such great timing.

What do you have to do to get a business membership? Do you need an occupational license or something?
