Folks-
My mom went in for minor surgery, and there were complications. She's scheduled for heart surgery in the next few hours, so I'm flying to Chicago now to be with her and the rest of my family.
We're hopeful that the surgery will help her turn a corner, but it's just not certain right now.

Hopes for a good outcome flying her way. My BIL has had a lot of work done on his ticker in Chicago hospitals.. they're darn good people.

Good luck to you and your Mom. I had a triple bypass and an aortic valve replacement a few years ago and so know what she is going through.
