I think that it if it *was* a real iPhone back that it won't be anymore, they will change the design, and that supplier will be sued into oblivion.

it depends when they want to launch it. If they want to surprise us next week (or even in say August) it's way too late to make changes IMHO.

I would expect that there are any number of feasibility mock-ups built before the final design is decided upon.

Might this just be a piece from a rejected design?

Size and placement of the company logo in the video just shows they're trying to get some PR. If it was real, they would want to conceal who has it.

It's got what's reported to be a mini dock port on the bottom. Rumors are that the dock port is being reduced in size as many of the original 30 pin dock are no longer used.

I wouldn't be surprised if they go to a Micro USB connector for charging/docking, it's become a mandated standard for cell phone chargers in some countries. They currently ship an adapter to meet that standard.
