True.

Noticed that today as I was looking at the date for my notes. I remember exactly where I was and the disbelief of what I was seeing on the tube.

What I notice today is that most of the students at the school I work for weren't born, or were under 3 years old in 2001 - and most of them don't know what "9/11" is. Or if they do, they only sort of "know"...

As a side note, I never refer to the date as "9/11" just because it can be confused with a 911 call. Everyone knows exactly what I'm talking about right away-with the appropriate gravity-if I refer to it as "September 11th". Just my opinion...

:agree:

Also, for Canadians and Europeans 'nine-eleven' can be November 9th.

September 11th, 2001. The Second Day of Infamy.

Todays morning weather here in NJ was pretty much as it was 11 years ago on that day in NYC as I walked to work from Penn to Times Square. Our world has never been the same since that morning.

Not sure that's a bad thing. We never should have let it define us the way we did.
