Presumably, it would work the same as any other GSM iPhone on T-Mobile. T-Mobile US doesn't have an LTE network yet. They're supposed to launch one next year, using spectrum they acquired from AT&T.

Sure, T-Mobile Europe. If you meant the American T-Mobile 3G frequencies, then no.

Yes, for the iPhone 5, there are different models that support different frequencies of LTE.
