Vanishing iTunes files - PizzaGod - 09-15-2012
I bought the season ticket for Leverage Season 5. I've watched two episodes and as soon as they are over, they disappear from my library, and cannot be re-downloaded.
This happen to anybody else? The fix?

Funny you should mention this -- and l'm glad you solved your particular issue with it -- but I know over the years I've had song files disappear a few times. Either the link in iTunes gets the exclamation point and then it's not findable on the drive, or it disappears entirely from the library (kind of Twilight Zone like; I know I bought/ripped it, but it's not there).

I've seen files disappear from iTunes without a trace since I first started using it. Sometimes I'll be thinking about a song I hadn't listened to in a long time and when I check, yup, it's gone. This is across three different machines and God knows how many OS versions.
If the disappearances weren't silent that would be nice, but no, they vanish without a trace.

I've had two movies disappear in the last week without a trace and I KNOW I've watched them. I'm a little concerned.
