internet radio - lazydays - 10-07-2012

I just installed xmbc on my appletv and have been enjoying the internet radio feature. In particular I like the ability to do searches which itunes does not allow for inside the radio section.

In OSX and IOS what is the dominant radio station app? I'm already using pandora for random music. I'm looking for an app that will let me listen to specific radio stations like xmbc does. Thanks for any info.

Someone here mentioned TuneIn recently, for iOS. Dunno about OS X.

Yeah, digging through the radio directory in iTunes on Mac OS X should be easier than the Apple TV. I'd give iTunes a try first

To reiterate, I only ask because of my recent posts about adding XMBC to the first gen Apple TV. Love it, should have done this years ago.

I use Public Radio Player.

I had xmbc on my atv1 and it worked but was slow. I now have it on my atv2 and it is much better. I will check out the two apps mentioned above. Thank you!
