Levi's 505 Jeans inseam -- will they shrink much? - DewGuy - 10-24-2012

To make a long story short, I used to wear Levi's 509 jeans, the last time I bought a pair was back in the early 90s. I used to get a 34" inseam and they would shrink to about 32.25"-32.75" which was perfect. I'm looking to get some new Levi's and they no longer make 509s, so I'm considering the 505s and was wondering if they still shrink as much as they did back in the late 80s, early 90s? Thanks!

Thanks. I called but all they would say is that they shrink a minimum of .25", not really helpful. I tried a pair of 501s once and I couldn't stand all the fiddling around with the button fly every time I used the bathroom. :-)
