PDF --> vectors when font not installed - Mr Downtown - 10-25-2012

Maybe I'm just fogged this afternoon, but there's got to be a way.

I'm trying to get a client's coupon from the PDF they sent into a FreeHand document. When I open the PDF in Illustrator, it asks for a font that isn't installed (my system says it is installed, but that's a problem to track down some other time). It appears that the fonts are embedded in the PDF, so I'm trying to figure out how I can open it in Illustrator with the type already outlined, or some other solution.

If I haven't figured out something in an hour I'll just rasterize it in Photoshop and go on, but keeping vector art as vectors is a matter of principle to me.
