What about 2x8GB? I had someone say they had a friend who got "reseller" pricing from Newegg or somewhere similar and that they were able to pick up 2x8GB chips for around the same price (maybe $33?)
I just put together a hackintosh myself finally, as an experiment. Unfortunately, I cheaped out on the CPU getting a i3-2100 which apparently only has Intel HD 2000 graphics - not supported! So I'm in the market for a new CPU and as much RAM as I can buy.
Anyone need a i3? PM me.
