Mr Stills is a talented musician . I cherish the fuzzy memory of seeing CSN in concert .

Not to make this post apolitical, but Stills is surely one of the most under appreciated guitarist of our time. Go back and listen to Manassas, Buffalo Springfield, and all the variations of CSN (&Y) and he still stands out.

Damn... I'm trying to remember who said it... SOME major music figure that knows everybody said that in all his years, he's only met two absolutely natural players: steve stills and jimi hendrix

Completely agree-- his influence on what we've all been listening to over the past 40+ years is completely impossible to appreciate.

Remember when Palin stole the spotlight from McCain with her newsworthy stupidity, and freaked everyone out so badly that they ran to the polls and elected Obama? I get the feeling Ryan is Romney's "bad cop" like Cheney was for Bush: Full of extremism but this time wrapped up in youthful energy lacking the experience to (literally) shoot his way out of trouble.

Notice the GOP handlers have been scheduling Ryan in Romney safe areas like Texas and Oklahoma. I expect next he'll be in Utah, wherever he is it won't be anywhere near a swing state. He was put on the ticket to shore up the base and that's all.
