Common file formats for saved video on older digicams/cell phones? - Black - 11-17-2012

I've been trying to find some video clips I took a few years ago... could have been 2005, or 2006, or 2007... searching under .MOV and have pored through about 1,600, but not finding it. Don't remember which camera or phone might have been used either.
Is there another file format I should search under? .MPG, .mp4 don't do it.

my old Treo used either .3g2 or .3gp - this table of container formats might help jog your memory...

Thank you, stingme... never tried that before... it allowed me to 'thumb' through movies that started instantly, but it's all the same ones I viewed with a search earlier-- no joy.
