Caddyshack is absolutely up there in the top 5 of my all time favorite movies. My first job ever was as a caddy at the Champaign Country Club (in Champaign, IL) back in 1984. I got paid about $10 for four hours of carrying someone's golf clubs around.
I watched the movie (although not for the first time) the night before my first day on the job, and wondered if it would be like that.
It was not.
But it wasn't a bad job, and I got to golf for free.
