used to use this back in the day. it was the first macro typing program i ever had. at some point i switched to TextExpander and have never looked back. kind of surprised it's still around.

Wow, I didn’t know this was still around. I also used it many years ago, but probably gave it up when I realized I wasn't using it enough to justify paying for it.

I use TypeIt4Me for personal use at home and for constant daily use at work. It has always worked very well and has saved me countless keystrokes. The developer has always been very quick to respond to any questions I might have. I have never used TextExpander, so can not make any comparisons, but I have been very pleased with TypeIt4Me.

I thought that went south with OS 8.6.

I still use today. I never looked at TE, though I'd heard of it, only because TI4M did what I needed.
