I know exactly where those pictures were taken of the prez in Petra. They must have taken down the screening at the base of the Treasury for him. It didn't appear to be there. The other picture with the seemingly dead tree and mausoleum was a mausoleum at one time and I took some pictures of orange cats there. They blended right in with the sand rock. I wondered if he would ride a cart in or walk. They drove him out (I got driven out in a car also...the back road)

I gues not. That and donkey rides were available but I guess he wanted to ride in an SUV not a camel. I have pictures of the camels and one native was giving the camels a drink out of water bottles. It looked so funny.

Suzanne, did you know Pres. Obama was also in Israel? Faux has limited coverage so I can understand how you might not have heard about it.
Did you also know that Pres. Bush II made numerous trips to Israel but all were Top Secret, no public records exist, except for the last one late in his presidency? Or that Pres. Reagan made five trips to Israel, all Top Secret, no records publically extant? But that Pres. Obama has finally just made his very first trip to Israel? So shameful, according to Faux, that Pres. Obama took so, so long to travel to our foremost holy ally.
