"(CNN) -- Shain Gandee, one of the stars of the MTV reality show "Buckwild," has been found dead along with two other people in Kanawha County, West Virginia, authorities said Monday.

What a pity. The show featured, with typical MTV approach, the antics and exploits of a gaggle of apparently wealthy 20 something kids in rural WV. The young man was 'mudding' with his uncle and a friend when the truck got stuck in the mud. And they left the truck running.. CO backed up into the cab, and they all died.

I sometimes wonder if more young people aren't killed aping this kind of crazy behavior.

Then I remember the dumb stuff I did as a teen, and shake my head in amazement that I survived. Feeling immortal and self-entitled is an attribute of the young, regardless of generation and time.

Ed: posting on the wrong side is, however, an attribute of the elderly. Derp..

Oh, I'm certain there is a camera crew down there right now doing a 'reaction' story, a funeral story, and all kinds of stuff.
