Typical liberal insanity.

It's part of the 'make it too expensive to own a gun legally' concept. Ditto the tax on ammunition and such. Back-alley methods to result in confiscation of our firearms.

I despise back-alley methods. You want to ban all guns ? Then admit it, and try and do it. Legally.

Thank you for that well thought out critique of the subject. Who are these crazy people who offer gun liability insurance anyway...oh wait, the NRA does?

Do you feel the same way about making it next to impossible to get a Constitutionally guaranteed abortion in some states? If not, then your outrage isn't based on the principle of respecting Constitutional rights.

Ted..

Well done. You have clearly linked the ownership of guns (which most anti gun people will state are solely intended for the murder of human beings) with the actual murder of fetal human beings.

If I own a gun for the purpose of performing abortions with it, it's OK then. Right ?

What I linked was consistently respecting Constitutional guarantees as a principle.

I like this quote:

NRA spokeswoman Stephanie Samford said the organization opposed liability insurance for gun owners because it was "economically discriminatory."

"You don't have to carry insurance to exercise any other constitutional right," Samford said.

Because as we all know, our constitutional rights extend to affordability as well?

I like even more how bangstick advocates love repeating the mantra that it's not the gun that kills, but the asshat pulling the trigger. And now here, it's OK to also be socially and financially irresponsible, because individual rights trump all others, all of the time.

Gun advocates: Welcome to Public Society, where it's Not All About YOU.

What I don't understand is why advocates don't ever try to get better representation from some new group, because the NRA really is kinda stupid sometimes and you would think there's a lot at stake here for them.

So mandating auto insurance is OK but firearm insurance should be verboten?

So mandating auto insurance is OK but firearm insurance should be verboten? You should know better, Roger, that is one reason the state clearly states AND repeats over and over, "driving is a privilege, not a right", weapon ownership happens to be specifically mentioned in Constitution...
